The American Century promoted by the Neocons (Bush, Cheney,
Wolfovotz, Perle, Feith etc=85) lasted 8 years under George W Bush.
At least this impression was conveyed to El Chino when He was
watching the gathering of the G20 in Wa****ngton DC.
Nicola Sarcosy challenged the 60 year US dominance of the World
Fincancing system which derived from Breton Woods . Japan, China,
Brazil demanded more says in the functioning of the IMF and the World
Bank which are the monopoly of Uncle Sam for more than half a century.
The emerging economies like Argentina, South Africa and Indonesia
lectured the USA for scheming to rob the pensioners of the World of
their life saving.
The whole world, including Uncle Sam, are asking the Chinese, the
Japanese, the Saudi, hat in hands to help.
What was the common mistake made by the Germans in1930s, the Russians
in the 1980s and he US in 2000s leading to their decline ?
Over-extension.
I hope and pray that President Obama would not use the power of the
USA which is still considerable, unwisely.
