My Favorite Wartime Person: LTC Fulcher, Robert 4th Battalion 18th Infantry
LTC Fulcher is the example I think of when I consider a person to be
considered
a military leader. He cared for his soldiers. He cried for Sgt Lindsey and
lead
the battalion though a known mine field to ensure the battalion safety, He
went
in front of mine clearing devices. M88 dragging a 5 ton truck. I served as
his
Sr Combat Medic/ Medical platoon Sergeant.
